Build a Polymarket copy trading workflow

Begin with public trader research and choose one provider-specific path. Polycopy and Polyfollow are alternatives, not an interoperable combined system. Public screens were inspected; no wallet or live-copy account was connected.

Define the decision

  • Name a market, its rule and date, and one candidate trader.
  • Choose observation, historical simulation, paper, manual or separately authorized live copying.
  • Write a risk and total-cost budget; do not send account details or wallet secrets to the directory.

Research the trader

Compare the record’s window, concentration and score definition. Carry the market, trader and date into the next decision. Polycopy offers Copy Score and discovery; Polyfollow offers its own directory. A finished-trade score or leaderboard does not forecast the result of a later copy at another price or size.

Choose the mode

Polyfollow’s public historical simulator is not a forward-running paper bot. Polycopy documents manual copying, paper bots and separately paid live bots. Inspect fill-price, minimum-order and stop-loss assumptions before comparing results. Keep each provider’s permissions and unanswered questions separate; no product-to-product transfer is established.

Record controls before authorization

Document budget, sizing, minimum orders, skipped actions, exit rules and the effect of pausing on held positions. Check subscription or trial conditions and the exact market’s venue costs. Until signing and stop behavior are resolved, this guide gives no go-live instruction. Only the actual operator can determine eligibility and an appropriate next action.

Separate the charges

Polycopy lists free paper bots, Premium at $30/month for live bots and a 0.5% service fee on real platform-executed trades. Polyfollow lists no subscription, with 1% on filled copied taker orders and 0.5% on filled copied maker orders, based on order value. Polymarket collects that copying fee at execution; its own market-specific fees can apply separately. These are dated vendor terms, not measured transaction costs. Check current terms before use.

Review an independently used service

If the operator later uses a provider, compare their own orders and history with the original market, mode and plan. Revisit fees or stale claims and report sourced corrections. The directory does not obtain or verify these account records.

Check the outcome

  • Can you name the trader, market, window and meaning of the metric?
  • Is the mode explicit, with provider permissions and stop/exit behavior recorded?
  • Are subscription, service and venue charges separate, without a profit or safety claim?

The public Polyfollow simulator display and its fee/fill assumptions were inspected; no forward paper run, vendor account, signing, actual order or billing was tested. Changed rules or execution conditions can invalidate comparisons. A provider score is not a verified forecast.
