Robin: Polymarket Position Vaults and Yield

Robin accepts eligible Polymarket YES or NO positions into vaults. Opposing positions are paired, their merged USDC collateral is put to work externally, and shares account for the user's staked position and yield.

What is Robin?

The product is designed for holders already exposed to an outcome. A supported Deposit Wallet or Safe connects to detected positions; users review approvals, matching terms and share accounting before staking. The documented route does not support email-based wallet access.

Yield has separate sources: organic returns, a provider-funded top-up behind the advertised 6% minimum APY and an additional 1% annualized matching bonus on the balancing portion of a deposit. Activity separates these components. Annualized rates are not fixed returns for a short holding period, and withdrawal can be delayed by utilization at the underlying yield source.

Who it is for

  • Holders of supported Polymarket positions.
  • Users evaluating yield on capital already committed to an outcome.

Features and coverage

  • Position staking

Deposit eligible YES or NO positions rather than place an unrelated new bet.

  • Opposing-side matching

The vault pairs both sides and deploys merged USDC to external yield sources.

  • Share accounting

Track shares and yield separately for each staked position.

  • Yield breakdown

Activity distinguishes organic yield, funded top-up and applicable bonuses.

  • Matching bonus

An extra 1% annualized incentive covers only the portion balancing the pool at deposit.

Workflows with Robin

Evaluate an eligible position

Connect a supported wallet and select a detected position. Review matching, approvals, yield sources and withdrawal terms; compare annualized rates with the intended holding period.

Understand a payout

Use Activity to distinguish organic yield, provider top-up and matching bonus rather than treating the total as a single source.

Pricing and total cost

The documented protocol fee is 0%. Governance may introduce a fee on organic yield. The advertised 6% minimum APY relies on a separately provider-funded top-up when organic yield is lower; it is neither a fee nor a fixed short-period return.

Getting started

Before you start: Withdrawals or redemptions can be delayed by underlying liquidity utilization.

  1. Launch the official app and connect a supported Deposit Wallet or Safe.
  2. Choose an eligible detected position.
  3. Read approvals, matching terms and share accounting.
  4. Stake the chosen amount and monitor Activity entries.

High utilization at an underlying yield source can temporarily delay withdrawal or redemption.

What to check

  • Withdrawals or redemptions can be delayed by underlying liquidity utilization.
  • The documented staking route does not support email-based wallet access.
  • The 1% matching bonus covers only the balancing deposit portion.
  • Top-ups depend on separate provider funding; small bonus amounts can be skipped as dust.

Our take on Robin

The documentation separates matching, organic yield and funded bonuses clearly. Withdrawal delays and dependence on matching and external yield sources add constraints beyond the headline rate.

Frequently asked questions about Robin

Do I retain exposure to my original outcome?

The share accounting is designed around the staked position while matched collateral earns yield.

Are withdrawals always immediate?

No. High utilization at the underlying yield source can cause temporary delays.

Does every share receive the matching bonus?

No. Only the portion balancing the pool when deposited qualifies.

Is the advertised 6% a fixed short-term payout?

No. It is an annualized APY supported by a provider-funded top-up when organic yield falls short, not a fixed return for a short holding period.
