What is PolyFund?

The fund structure delegates trading choices to a manager. The directory and manager profiles help compare mandates, public records, fund values and performance; connected-wallet views track participating funds. Managers can create funds with defined periods and permitted fees.

The lifecycle determines access to money: Open permits deposits and withdrawals, Trading permits neither, and Closed enables redemption. Separating trading authority from direct withdrawals does not prevent the manager from losing capital through trades.

Workflows with PolyFund

Read the mandate and dates, examine the manager and calculate entry and profit fees. Match the lockup to your capital needs.

Track and redeem

Monitor stage and value in My Funds, then use Closed-stage redemption after the trading period.

Pricing and total cost

Each fund sets its own fees. Documented caps are 3% on deposits and 30% of profits as a performance fee.

Fees and usage costs

  • The deposit fee is deducted on entry: a 2% fee leaves $980 from a $1,000 deposit before other costs.
  • The performance fee applies to profitable results at the end of the fund period.

The stages, manager pages and fee caps explain the structure clearly. Lockups and delegated trading decisions impose substantial constraints when choosing a fund.
