What is PolyRouter?

A shared response format reduces the separate venue formats an application must handle. Listings retain platform and status filters and the market/event/series hierarchy. Books, historical trades, price series and supported public-user endpoints add detail after market discovery.

Sports endpoints give games a standardized identity using teams, date and league, alongside league, award and futures discovery. Keep the original venue and contract identity in any comparison: normalized data does not equalize settlement rules, and Manifold’s play-money markets are included beside real-money venues.

Request open markets by platform, retain venue identity and refresh price history for selected contracts.

Discover games, store standardized game IDs and fetch their markets and odds.

Prototype an assistant

Use the documented MCP setup while keeping venue and contract identity visible in research responses.

Pricing and total cost

The documented open beta is free with a shared limit of 100 requests per minute for all users. Higher-volume requirements are directed to the team.

Getting started

Before you start: Settlement rules still differ between venues.

  1. Create an account and obtain your API key.
  2. Send the key in the X-API-Key header.
  3. Start with a small /markets request filtered to Polymarket.
  4. Add pagination and the book, history or sports endpoints you need.
  5. Follow the MCP documentation for assistant integration.

A shared response format does not make venue settlement rules equivalent.

Our take on PolyRouter

The unified API and public tester make multi-platform exploration accessible. Beta access, shared request limits and mixed play-money and real-money markets still require deliberate application design.
